What data is processed

• When visiting the website: technical server logs (for example IP address, browser type, timestamp) by the hosting provider Infomaniak (Switzerland), for the technical provision and protection of the site.
• When you send me an email: your email address, your name if provided, and the content of your message.
• For audience measurement: which pages are visited, from which country and whether they were found, reading time and scroll depth, loading time and clicks on links, without cookies and without storing your IP address; in addition, counts of visits by search engine and AI crawlers taken from the server logs (details below).

Purpose Data from emails is used solely to respond to your enquiry. It is not passed on to third parties and not used for advertising purposes.

Retention Emails are kept for as long as is useful for answering and following up on the enquiry. The hosting provider deletes server logs automatically after a short period.

Cookies This website sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, which is why there is no cookie banner.

Audience measurement To understand which content is read, I count page views with a statistics tool I developed myself, running on stats.ancora.marketing. It runs on the same hosting at Infomaniak in Switzerland; no data is passed on to third parties. Recorded are: the page visited and whether it was found, the time, the website you came from (domain name only), any campaign parameters in the link (utm parameters), device type, browser, operating system, browser language and the country the visit comes from. The country is determined from the IP address using a table on the same server, without any external service; only the country code is stored. In addition, the tool measures how long a page is visibly open, how far you scroll, how quickly it loads and responds (technical measurements from the browser) and whether you click a link to email, phone, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, a download or another website. Only the type of link and its destination are recorded (for websites only the domain name, for phone links no number).

I also evaluate the web server’s access logs to count visits by search engine and AI crawlers. Only counts per day and crawler are stored, no IP addresses.

Your IP address and the full browser identifier are not stored. They are only used briefly, together with a random key that changes daily, to form a daily identifier so that different visitors on one day can be counted. The key is deleted every day; after that, the data can no longer be linked to you. No recognition across several days takes place. If your browser sends the “Global Privacy Control” or “Do Not Track” signal, your visit is not counted; in that case reading time, scrolling, loading time and clicks are not recorded either. The data is deleted after 400 days at the latest. The basis for this is my legitimate interest in improving this website.

External services This website embeds no external services. Images, fonts and code are served directly from the site’s own server, the statistics script from stats.ancora.marketing on the same hosting. Emails to marco@ancora.marketing are received and stored encrypted at Proton Mail (Proton AG, Geneva, Switzerland).

Your rights You have the right to request information about the data stored about you, as well as its correction or deletion. Please contact marco@ancora.marketing.

Data security The website is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
